Chorus is an organisation that promotes the respect and knowledge of popular music and popular arts in Finland - popular culture in general. Popular culture is often being ridiculed and ignored by academics, often also by the active participants and producers of the popular culture as well. Chorus takes pop seriously - but not solemnly. Since you found these pages you propably feel, that popmusic, films, arts etc. makes a great difference in your life. Hell yes, we think so too! Beatles are bigger than Jesus!Chorus intends to get under the surface of popular culture by organising seminars, study circles, happenings and other events - and great parties of course. Pop should be, among many other things, fun!

Chorus is located in Helsinki and is open to all people who have a genuine interest in popular culture. Chorus activities are for most part announced and marketed publicly but the best way to keep updated on Chorus programme is to read the webpages and to join Chorus mail-list.
